[Transfer student, you say? A female transfer student?

This is very important news. Once you've found your way to the common rooms, Athena, you'll find one Inigo casually sidling over to greet you.]

Good evening. [With winning grin to boot.] It's a pleasure to meet a transfer student, miss. It must be quite an unnerving experience, but Hogwarts will do its best to enthrall you, I am sure. [Still smiling. How is your face not tired, Inigo.] My name is Inigo. Might I ask for yours?

[ Oh god someone's coming over don't think she won't jinx you by accident-- oh he's being nice. Okay. False alarm. Luckily, he's coming off as nothing but honestly happy, so she beams back with total confidence. Not a great start for his attempted enthralling, but promising nonetheless. ]

Oui! Mine's Athena. [ The amulet around her neck fizzles green and burbles a Widget! What a good magical artifact. ] It's great to meet you, Inigo. You wouldn't happen to be one of my house mates, would you?

[ Evidence added to the court record: his entire uniform. GJ Athena. ]

[Athena, you are as radiant as your name, he'll be nice forever. That's why he's a Gentleman™. It's when he suggests romantic moonlight strolls through the greenhouses and romantic stargazing on the astronomy tower that it's around the time girls tell him to shove off.]

Athena! How lovely. It is very befitting for one as... lovely as yourself. [Pointless flattery, all you know about her Inigo is her name and her house and she's a transfer student.

That's alright because he will just continue being "enthralling".] It certainly seems that way, doesn't it? Given that we're both standing here outside the Tower, and we're both wearing red and gold. Gryffindor is in fact where the most brave find themselves... and I'm not one to shy away from such a mantle.

[If there was a door, he'd open it. But there isn't, and so he turns to the Fat Lady, gives her the password of the week, Tapdancing Pixies, and the portrait swings open.]

Indeed. All the common rooms have their own ways of ensuring who enters - for us, it's a password. It's usually changed once a month or so. It doesn't take long for word to be passed around of it, either.

[Inigo follows after, giving a dashing (in his mind) smile to several ladies that they pass, but they are wise to Inigo and his flattery and just give him a brief wave before exiting.

One day, he might get a date.
